Alexandre Wehrlin is a Swiss-Australian who studied and grew up in Geneva. He started his career at Sita, a telecommunication company and later joined DFS Trading Ltd, a member of luxury group LVMH, where he worked five years as a Business Analyst. During this time he carried out several international projects notably in Miami and in Singapore, conducting IS integration and training. In 2004, he joined the Communications Department at Piaget, where he was in charge of budgeting, internet and films. In 2007, he was appointed E-Business Manager and dedicated his time to the launch of several e-commerce platforms in the US, Europe, Japan and lately China. He also conducted the internalization of contact-centers for the brand. He oversees the development of websites, the digital media, social networks, and back-office services and also participates in the brand’s communication launches. In parallel, Alex is also a lecturer at the Geneva University for the e-business and communication master.
